Tamilnadu board was developed in the year 1910 and works under the department of education, Government of Tamil Nadu, India. At the ending of the 10th standard the streams SSLC (Secondary school leaving certificate), OSLC (oriental school leaving certificate) and matriculation stream are offered. For the 11th and 12th standard that is for the higher secondary level there is only one stream is offered by the Tamil Nadu board that is higher secondary certificate (HSC).
