ICSE Board Syllabus for Home Science

Home Science is an interesting subject which is introduced to the student from class 9th. We provide the ICSE Board Syllabus for Home Science for the students. In syllabus for class 9th and class 10th, it consists two parts. Part 1 is a written paper of two hours duration carrying 100 marks and part 2 of ICSE Home Science Syllabus consists of Internal Assessment of 100 marks. Part 1 is again subdivided into two sections. Section A consists of short answers type questions with no choices. In Section B of ICSE Home Science Syllabus, candidates are required to answer any four questions. In ICSE Board Syllabus of class 11th and class 12th, it consists of two papers.
Paper 1 of ICSE Home Science Syllabus consists of 70 marks and duration of 3 hours and it is theoretical paper. Paper 2 consists of 30 marks and duration of 3 hours and it is a practical paper. Paper 1 of ICSE Home Science Syllabus is further divided into two parts. Part 1 is of 20 marks in which short answer type questions are given to the candidate. Part 2 consists of 50 marks in which candidates need to choose 5 questions out of eight.
